When I was studying at art college, I had a wonderful tutor, Anton. He was so passionate about art, such an inspiration to me. One day, after a lot of pressure from me over several months, he brought his secret drawings to show me. Amongst them was a tiger, the most delicate piece of work I think I have ever seen. It made me cry. He told me that that was the last tiger of its kind. It was only a small ink drawing with watercolour over the top, but it remains one of the most poignant pieces of art I have ever seen.
